WHEN & WHERE

The 50th Annual Real Runabouts Rendezvous is scheduled for September 11–13, 2026, at Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge on Lake Minnetonka. The venue, located at 3746 Sunset Dr, Spring Park, MN 55384, provides boat slips, dining options, beverages, ample space for land displays, and additional amenities. We invite you to join us in commemorating this significant milestone in an elegant manner.

FRIDAY ACTIVITIES

Cruise & Luncheon (9am – 3pm)

Friday’s cruise and luncheon are always a highlight of the weekend and should not be missed. This year, we are introducing a Poker Run, giving participants a chance to explore the lake at their own pace. The day begins with a brief Captain’s meeting at 9:00 am at the docks of Lord Fletcher’s. Afterwards, we’ll cruise Lake Minnetonka in parade formation, arriving at Al & Alma’s waterfront Supper Club around 11:00 am for a private group lunch. In the afternoon, you can choose to join the continuing parade cruise or cruise independently to complete your poker hand, which will be played during the Saturday night Banquet. Since weather can affect events, an extra cruise is scheduled for Sunday after the show, serving as a backup if Friday’s weather isn’t favorable.

Registration & Kick-Off Happy Hour (4pm – 7pm)

The 50th Annual Real Runabout Rendezvous Kick-Off starts at 4:00 pm at Lord
Fletcher’s West Patio with a hosted Happy Hour. All club members are invited,
whether or not you have a boat in the show. Show participants can check in
early and receive Saturday’s slip assignment. Boats may tie up at Lord
Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge docks (overnight at your own risk); no overnight
trailer parking is allowed. Please indicate during registration if you plan to
dock overnight so slips can be reserved for patrons.

SATURDAY ACTIVITIES

Boat Show on Lord Fletcher’s Docks (9am – 3pm)

On Saturday, make sure to arrive at Lord Fletcher’s docks with your boat by 8:00 am. The boat show will run from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Please keep your boat docked throughout the event so that late visitors can view it. This year, the show awards will be presented during an evening Banquet. Kindly refrain from bringing outside food or drinks as a gesture of respect for our host.

50th Anniversary Banquet (5pm – 9pm)

Please join us to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Real Runabout Rendezvous boat show with an evening of fine food, drinks, a Boat Show awards presentation, and entertainment where it all started. There’s a planning committee working hard to make this event extra special so more details will be shared as they’re available and through registration and our website. Again, this event is open to all Land-O-Lakes Classic Boat Club Members regardless of if you are showing your boat.

SUNDAY ACTIVITIES

Boat Show on Lord Fletcher’s Docks (10am – 3pm)

We invite you to attend a breakfast buffet at Lord Fletcher’s at 10:00 am, followed by a Fall cruise that will depart at 12:00 pm. Given how fast the summer goes by and the unpredictable late fall weather, we are pleased to provide an additional opportunity for cruising after the Rendezvous show. This arrangement will also serve as a contingency in the event that Friday’s cruise is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Boats may be docked overnight on Saturday following the show at Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge (at the owner’s risk); however, overnight trailer parking is not permitted. Please indicate during registration if you intend to dock overnight so that we may reserve slips accordingly.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Please reach out to fellow boaters and spectators to spread the word about the fun and camaraderie of vintage boating, share the advantages of club membership, and the enjoyment our boat shows offer at no charge to spectators! It’s important that we continue to grow the club with more new members and guests, especially the next generation.

JUDGING

Registrants can select during the registration process whether or not they want to have their boat judged. The Awards from the show will be presented during the Banquet on Saturday night.
